I wish the new firmware for my phone is launched soon.... They brought a very nice devkit, but you cant run programs you built yet since it compiles for the unreleased firmware

But it doesnt really matter since the whole system is pretty moddable. Root access is very easy and lots of linux apps are ported. For example KMplayer. Originally posted by Risto:It just boots, no drivers for radio chipset yet:

Nice. I've seen it running fully on an iPhone. Full radio. Pretty cool
Pretty cool, should be easier on the N900 though, since they both use a 'same generation' linux kernel. But I think there is relatively little interest for it compared to the iPhone.

Problem with developing for Nokia though is the amount of devices and with that the amount of form factors, hardware specs and resolutions etc. A bith to develop for where as iPhone is 1 device fits all and Android is all touch with only some minor resolution differences.
running fairly slow these days so I've backed everything up just in preperation for the worst :/ one problem I can't seem to get the hang of is that iTunes always comes up with an error message while I'm syncing my iPod and closes down, this has resulted with only bits and pieces of my library, I have one song off War and no Joshua Tree
any ideas what I could do? Apart from buy a new computer, budget ain't stretching for that just yet
