  3. Yeah me too Pretty cool, should be easier on the N900 though, since they both use a 'same generation' linux kernel. But I think there is relatively little interest for it compared to the iPhone.

    Hope Nokia's Ovi store takes off when apps can run easily on all their systems. Now it is pretty sad for maemo. Luckily the repositories of the community are pretty active.

    My next phone may be Android, unless Meego takes a good share.
  4. the Ovi store is technically taking off (1.7 million downloads a day) but it's mainly all java crap.

    Problem with developing for Nokia though is the amount of devices and with that the amount of form factors, hardware specs and resolutions etc. A bith to develop for where as iPhone is 1 device fits all and Android is all touch with only some minor resolution differences.

    Also i dont understand why they dont concentrate on 1 OS. When PR 1.2 is out i will try to think of a u2start related app to develop, since i have little creativity to come up with something original

    Crap indeed, not only because some of it is Java but compared to Apple and Android..they offer a lot more apps. A lot.

I think my computer is dying running fairly slow these days so I've backed everything up just in preperation for the worst :/ one problem I can't seem to get the hang of is that iTunes always comes up with an error message while I'm syncing my iPod and closes down, this has resulted with only bits and pieces of my library, I have one song off War and no Joshua Tree any ideas what I could do? Apart from buy a new computer, budget ain't stretching for that just yet

    Re-install Windows or whatever you're running. Or a system clean up. Loads of data can cause slow processing. How old is your pc?
  10. You'll have to do a disk formatting, and 90% sure that all your problems will be gone

    If you don't know how to do it, ask a technician or a friend that knows a bit about PCs and you'll get it sorted

  12. Try what Sergio suggested. Although a 5-6 year old pc might need to go to the trash dump instead. You could buy some new parts (new videocard, motherboard and such). Just to keep the thing updated and quick.
