1. Re-format.
  2. That is the most effective solution indeed. Takes some time though

    Ooooh top-secret.....scary.

I never actually noticed the MsnMsgr .exe - that is odd. And there's quite a few of them with spaces before the .exe as well, even stranger. I'd be doing a scan if they're what I think they are. I just saw your posts - reformatting probably is the way to go although it's worth trying to see if you can find the problem first.

He's using Vista so it shouldn't take too long to reinstall - the drivers are the biggest pain in the arse to redo. But it needs to be a full format, not a quick one to make sure everything is gone including those weird .exe files).

Good stuff. I hate when things stop working when you're in the middle of something actually useful and it cuts out.

You'd better get it re-formatted, really. From what I see you've got about 30 suspicious/dangerous processes that are damaging your PC funcionality and speed. Therefore, you should re-format your hard disk, since it's the only accurate way to get rid of them. If you don't know how to do it call a computer tech and he'll get it sorted, for less than 20 or 30$ (US dollars) usually.
  7. Don't worry he's already booked for Monday thanks a lot

  8. No worries. When he's there ask about those processes on there.
