    Agreed

Add a standard Super-drive to that and I'll be updating.

They have Bluetooth already so I suspect that will stay.

As for the price drop - each time a model is fundamentally the same but they upgrade the hardware they have dropped the price (iMac leaps to mind as the newest 20 inch is the same price as the old fuller-spec 17 inch). So maybe not. Here's hoping....
  4. Just thought I'd put up the 10 worst tech products as voted by CNet.co.uk. Surprisingly, the iPod classic didn't get in there.

    10. Windows Vista: The worst operating system ever released? Next to Windows ME, yep.

    9. Sony Rootkit CDs: Anything that installs software without your permission is bad.

    8. Amstrad E-m@iler Telephone: Would you pay 12p to send an email?

    7. Atari Jaguar: Should Atari have abandoned operations? Of course.

    6. Apple Puck Mouse: Sold for less than six months. I wonder why?

    5. Tamagotchi: It works great as a distraction for your kids, but even better with no batteries.

    4. Gizmondo: A reason GameBoy clones should be discontinued.

    3. The Squircle: Rated the lowest score ever on CNet. It looks like shit, acts like shit and is shit.

    2. Barcode Battler: If you've ever played Hitman, he has one of these for neck-to-neck entertainment.

    1. Sinclair C5: Top speed 15mph. At least you can go 1mph faster than old people on scooters.

Puck mouses? Was that meant to be a piece of Pucked crap?

Must be. I just use the built-in mouse on my laptop and my dad uses a Logictech mouse. (The kind with the ball in it.)
Those puck mouses do make good coasters or doorstops though.
  8. If you took them apart, you could turn them into a vacuum cleaner by replacing the USB cord. Apple intelligence everywhere!

    Cleaning the floors, iStyle!

Used Media Center? What version you running, Home Basic / Home Premium / Business / Ultimate?

There are several bits in Vista that I do like:

    - Media Center (top of the list) not as good as MCE2005
    - Windows Media Player (works way better than XP)
    - Windows Movie Maker (now supports recorded TV shows)

    I don't like:

    - The new glassy interface (Aero) - it just looks butchered
    - How long it takes to copy a file (check it out below)

    - Poor compatibility with existing security programs and burning programs (Nero)
