1. Lets you use the Google operating system or the iPod operating system - the interface is different and if you're used to the Apple interface I'd keep with it. Not recommended yet because WiFi doesn't work so well - it supposedly cuts out at any moment - and the power management is crap (it can't be helped yet) because it hasn't been configured for drivers, so you'd get a good hour from it if that.

That's why I'm not running it. Yet.

Oh and you need to be running a Mac or Linux to install it from. If you're not using either (I use Linux) then you can't install it anyway.

  3. Casper - sounds like somethings wrong with your 5800. You've tried a firmware update I guess?
  4. so I've installed the iOS4 software and can't see much difference, apart from the album menu

  5. Have you not changed the home screen background? I think that's a major visible thing to notice

  6. didn't know that
  7. ^ To change wallpaper?
  8. ^ I know that, but having a specific model just to change wallpaper?

  9. Yeah but making someone buy a new model just to see wallpaper? What a joke.

Won't be going Apple again after for a new player or phone, at least with other brands (not Nokia) I can do what I like with those.
