1. It's clear that you desperately need a new phone, Drew.....
  2. I'm lost. Why is it clear?
  3. I think Sergio think you posted your last message on your phone, and if you did, it was a triple post
  4. I was thinking it was that.
  5. ^ I ended up with the Samsung Preston.

  6. Me neither. They mainly do high end in-studio phones and mics. These are there attempt to get in between their high and low end stuff.

  7. Jep it was on the picture

Dont have experience with AKG but they always popup in the reviews. They cover the whole budget range as well.

Not sure if I do understand you right. I've listened to a few AKG headphones and I did love 'em for their honest sound - you'll mostly hear what there is to hear and not what the manufacturer thinks you might want to hear. So no added bass, just a flat response of the music. If your "acknowledge that bass isn't everything" means you're surprised by hearing so much of it when wearing honest headphones instead of crappy in-ear thingies, you'll might inderstand why I've always complained about the current ipod-ready disastrous bass-heavy mixing fashion, and why I am conservative in that department when remastering a show. Anyway congratulations on the headphones, I haven't heard this particular model but as said, as a brand any AKG's are pretty trustworthy to me.

Once I adjusted though and got used to them they really are brilliant. Especially for Zooropa and Pop.
