    Nice Digital Sound Processor plugin that makes lots of bootlegs sound less muddy and muffled. It does something with the high frequencies. Works great on stadium gigs, not so much on studio records.

    Still happy with my Sennheiser CX300II for general usage but with the wire being short and them probably being rather uncomfy after a few hours use they aren't a feasible solution.


    I'd definitely suggest a wireless unit for your suggested usage. These AKG's aren't fantastic outdoors due to their fairly poor sound isolation (mostly down to the fact that I can't get a tight fit). Great indoors though.
  3. Wireless is nice, but make sure you buy a lightweight one. We have one at home that is a bit to heavy for heavy listening.
  4. I just went out and bought myself a 1TB hard drive, made by Western Digital. Kind of needed it as I only had 2.88GB left It was only £60 which is a bargain.



    Now I can download as much as I want without worrying that I only have little space left!

    Just bought the 500Gb version myself. Barely bigger than an iPod classic. Partioned for Time Machine and general storage. Perfect.
  10. I bought a 500 GB hard disk a few months ago, it was a real bargain too, just 49'99€. Crazy, you get one gygabyte of storing for ten euro cents!! The only down is that it needs two usb ports. Oh, and that they sell you 500 gb and actually you get 465
  11. No you get 500e9 bytes, which is roughly 465 GiB. Difference between computer standards and the Standard International.

    Harddisk companies use SI units. But most computer software use the other standard. Thats why there is a mismatch between what you see and what you buy.

    Also there is some overhead in the filesystem, that is also deducted from the raw storage capacity.
  12. I went out this afternoon to work, on the way thought I might get some new music and came back with a new iPod touch 32GB. Good score.
