1. Wasn't multitasking one of the new features on it?

  2. It's app switching that is the new feature. It isn't multi-tasking. Sad really.

If I start a podcast download it will get to 5% complete. I then switch to the browser to check here, launch twitter and fire off a few more emails. After a few minutes I go back to the podcast and it's still where I left it and will only continue to download if I leave podcasting open. Darn shame.

Also hate not being able to do anything with the home screen.

In this day and age with the stuff that's available, it's almost enough to make you laugh.

And, it's an oldie, but a goldie (as they say)

Suppose the iPhone 4 is beating the rock hands down now though lol.

I should have that as my wallpaper. I could pick faults with this thing all day long but I still like it as such. Probably just trying to justify the price I paid for the bastard.

I think that's the problem with Apple, for every advantage, there's two disadvantages.
  6. The lack of multi-task is a shame indeed, I hate when I pick up my mum's iPhone and it isn't able to do the things that some Nokias are.
  7. N900 dropped below €250, shame i didnt wait a few months. Cost me around 550 with subscription included.

where is it for that price?
  9. Oops, seems the shop made a typo, €386 now. Definitely was up there for 250 then.

Anyone configured their phone to disable animations? Feels much snappier

  10. I've noticed that. And you put bass boost on and and it sounds like the treble just went right up. Utter crap the 'equaliser'.

True. I can't really understand the equaliser thing on the iPhone. First of all, it's located in the phone settings menu, which is a wrong place, I think. The other thing is the presets themselves.

Has anyone tried this app? http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/buzz-player/id389744738?mt=8
It seems to be able to play a few other (as in not natively supported) formats as well, including FLAC and SHN, which should mean it uses its own decoder(?). I use iPhone 3G, so I'm a bit sceptical this thing will work properly and that's the reason I haven't tried it yet.

EDIT: I just noticed this app cannot run on my device. I think that's a new note at the bottom of the description (haven't noticed it the other day when I found the app).
  12. It looks like a network app and from the reviews not that good either. VLC might work better.
