    HTC are notoriously slow for updates. This wee phone I got runs at 600Mhz but doesn't have to carry HTC Sense on its back so is till very nippy. Other than that (and camera - also crap on HTC's though) this wee cheapo matches a standard Desire spec for spec.

    That HD is a monster


  2. They are all hackable. I've tried out 3 custom ROM's already on this ZTE Blade (cheap as hell if you can find one). In truth though they are all pretty hackable but you are best getting something with stock android on it. All depends on what you want to pay though but look for a Blade. Perfect for playing.

    Yep, but that's a decision you have. I like HTC Sense, one of the best and well-thought skins out there for Android 2.2. The Desire HD with its processor is capable of running that new skin smoothly. I prefer a big screen, don't use the camera anyway (although the 8mp camera is better than Nokia's 5800 3.2 mp trashcam) and the build is quite good too.

    Anyway, taste differs. Planning to go for a 1-year contract anyway instead of 2.

  9. Oh how it's nice to be on Android again. I couldn't customize an iPhone screen to make it so pretty.

  12. Got my Android installation deleted since the last update, but that bar didnt make that much sense to me.

    Is that the default clock widget or a custom one?
