1. Mp3tag is the only one I use. You can even strip dead and invalid ID3 data from supposedly-corrupted MP3s.

I'd also check out something called mp3gain. You know when you get a really loud MP3 file that has been compressed to hell and is so loud you literally get a headache from it like a lot of modern CDs? You can use that to reduce it from anywhere from 65dB up to 105dB and hear some form of dynamics.
  2. I'm getting hit and miss results with mp3tag. It keeps skipping some songs from an album. I'll try the other one too.

    edit : mp3gain works a treat

MP3gain is the second thing I install on a new install. I think MP3tag has issues with tracks ripped from certain programs e.g. iTunes and Windows Media Player.
  4. N8 is excellent. Only negative is that the screen brightness just isn't high enough. Hopefully some good folks write a hack of some description.

And Symbian 3 any good? Looks like Symbian 60v5 with some graphical tweaks here and there.

  6. It's excellent. Sure it's similar in looks to 60v5 but it's a complete overhaul in user experience. New UI tweaks and a new web browser expected in new firmware too. Should be fun.

    Android contender or too different?
  8. Symbian is still more phone centric than Symbian. Better though imo. Your typical android user might not enjoy the transition. I love it though.
  9. *** more phone centric than android. Nokias direct hit on Android will come with meego.
  10. N8 camera is impressive. Almost caught a falling snow flake full focus in the dark :

  11. Woow that one is nice! Nokia always had decent cams on their flagships The N95 was used in comparison in lots of reviews.

This camera is insanely good. If only I was a decent photographer
