1. I predict tablets will push both netbooks and notebooks from the market within 5 years. There are tablets coming with sliding keyboards and the first dual core mobiles will come too. There will be a time when even a netbook won't be mobile enough anymore.

Also interesting to see the technology of flexible screens. Around 2020 we might only use screens with integrated processors lol
  2. Everybodys use cases differ. A netbook suits mine. It will all come down to the OS though. iOS and Android are not computer Operating Systems. Meego might do the trick though.
  3. Why not just W7 on a netbook

  4. That's what i'm going to go for. XP is just passed it. I'll begin the search at the end of the month.
  5. Thought you wanted a Meego like OS But on second read i understand
  6. If I have a pair of busted iPod earphones that I want to use solely for the recording part that came with the iPod, do Apple usually replace them within warranty?

This Limited Warranty applies only to the hardware product manufactured by or for Apple that can be identified by the "Apple" trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to it. This Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Apple hardware product or any software, even if packaged or sold with the Apple hardware product.
  8. No logo but it did come with the iPod. I figure that should work.
  9. My TV is acting up. There are blue square dots appearing on the screen. While I'm playing my Xbox, it does it but when I'm watching a DVD on the Xbox, it doesn't do it. It's weird.
  10. Got the HTC Evo today (I'm actually using it right now)....very satisfied. Definite upgrade from my Blackberry.

  11. Good phone definitely...HTC's doing very well. They've also announced the Thunderbird.
Here is a teaser of Android 3.0 that just came out...tho it seems to be ONLY for tablets, the Motorola Xoom will be running it:

Still not interested in tablets Gerard?
  12. I am DEFINITELY all against tablets. Big, uncomfortable and risky to take out...
