True, that's the strength of Apple for the high-end and Nokia for the low-end more or less.
Google could have kept Android for the Nexus, which they didn't.
  2. I have a question. I plan to go biking a couple of times while in Eire later this month, and I thought about getting myself one of those mini cameras that you can tie to your helmet so you can film the trip while biking. A bit of fun, maybe create some nice memories this way.

found this one. now I have no idea about wether this is good or crap. website is in German but you might be able to make out the technical details.

anyone with an opinion on this? I'm clueless - as always any help would be much appreciated.

You know you get shaky footage with that, that's no problem? Or aren't you going offroad?

  4. I know it's most likely going to be shaky, I watched videos filmed like that on youtube to get an impression. It's no problem really, I just want to get some footage while driving. I'll stay on the roads or the paths along the cliffs mainly, no offroad really. I haven't planned that, however. The "real" filming of the important things I'll do with my digicam to get HD footage.
  5. That aside, there should be specialistic solutions with sufficient damping. But I guess those are pretty expensive.

    = out of my budget

well, I'll give this one a try. If it's total crap, there's always ebay afterwards

another question, this time really dumb, but hey, it's me --> let's say I've burned a dvd. Now I want to get the label that came with the torrent and put in on the dvd. how to do that? is there a special "paper" that I have to print the label on and then glue it to the dvd? *dumb*
  7. PR 1.1 for the N8 is in the house. All back end stuff but lots of fun either way.
  8. I wonder when will it arrive over here. I hope we don't have to suffer the usual 3 months delay
  9. There we go, Nokia has made a deal with Microsoft. WP7 will be their priority OS in the future, with a bit of Symbian and MeeGo on the other end.

Expected move, as there were many rumours. Wonder how it will work out. If they do it good, they could compete in the high-end with iOS and Android (iPhone, Samsung, HTC). WP7 could get the lift it has been waiting for since its release.
  10. Gutted.. Nokia has now just became another OEM. Microsoft bagged an absolute bargain.
