1. Planning to buy an HTC Desire tomorrow. How good is it?

  2. One of my guys has one; he loves it. The battery life is as crap as most smartphones with that screen size though. It does takes good video and photos, but I think if you want to use it as a music player you'll need to expand the memory.

  3. Nice screen, nice size, nice design. You know what you are getting with Android and Sense. Poor camera, speaker, music quality and battery life put me off. You could say that with most Android devices though.
  4. yeah I initially thought of the blackberry torch but the android os has much more options. thanks for the response, I think I'm going for it.

Don't go BB, it sucks. Desire is a good device. I don't care about the camera, don't use the speaker (for music I connect it with my stereo system) but the battery length is a pain in the arse sometimes.

Speaking of the Desire HD though.

  6. Instead of that, why not allow uncompressed WAV downloads for the same price. Either on iTunes I can buy an M4A album at less-than-decent quality yet buy one with uncompressed audio and a book for the same price, sometimes half of that price and it's a physical copy.

I could always download it for free in WAV as well but anyway...
  7. Ipad 2 doesn't interest me at all. Thinness taken too far. The price drop on the original iPad does though. £329 for the 16gb wi-fi model.

Similar thoughts here. FaceTime and thinness + a bit quicker =

    Price drop very tempting....

Have my iPhone 4 now. Love it.
  9. 330 bucks and its a reduced price? WTF
