1. they look a bit fragile and somehow flat how do they sound? good enough bass?

  2. Too soon to comments properly on sound. The bass is still improving. They seem to be built very well. Light but sturdy.

  3. 50 pounds... might be an option. Post here when you have a full review on the sound quality, will you?

  4. I'll try though I'm not great with the technical jargon (mids and lows etc)

  5. Not necessary, I just want a overview on how they sound, mainly to know if they're worth the money. Nothing professional, just a sincere opinion. Thanks man
  6. so.... in order to make up for other things I missed lately, I just wasted an incredible amount of money. full stop.

got myself a 40'' (102cm) Full-HD tv, with 3D technology and all the things you don't really need.
In addition to that, a blu-ray player.

now all I need is to buy some blu-ray dvds, right? is the Rosebowl blu-ray worth getting it, does it make any difference? what I mean is..... is it worth to replace some regular dvds I already have by buying the movies as blu-ray? does it really make all the difference? I've seen Pirates of the Caribbean as blu-ray example in a store once and it was really much better.
will blu-ray be better under the 3D effect than regular dvds? (I haven't built up the tv yet, it's only just arrived yesterday).

    thoughts?
  7. Thats a nice buy Kirsten, we'll probably do it eventually anyway. I think some people weren't too impressed by the Rose Bowl Blu Ray. But in cases I've seen the difference is much better, not sure it's worth buying the same movies again though. Have fun with it
  8. I'm not sure about the Rosebowl at all. Maybe I'll wait with that.
But I'm really tempted by Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean.....

    burn money while you can
  9. Buy Rattle & Hum on Blu-ray!

  10. Yup, it is.

Also, get loftarasa's multicams that are on U2torrents. Frankfurt & Athens are both blu-ray and free-leech. So get them, burn them onto a Blu-ray 50GB disc and try them out!

oh no..... haven't even considered that.... I have all the 360 dvds that are available so far..... just finished Athens this morning - but of course none as blu-ray....... so here I start again.... there goes my ratio

edit: blimey, forgot I have no blu-ray burner, which makes it pretty useless then. but one day maybe
