Also, if the external hard drive would crash, I'd lose everything. I don't think all discs would 'crash' at the same time.

Yeh the 15 yr old me would be getting DVDs too and they are more robust like you mentioned
  2. Desire S experiment over. Back to N8.
  3. Anyone here know a good way to start a mailing discussion list?
  4. Any website buffs know of a way to auto-refresh a page? For example, when on U2start following a show on the thread, is there a way to pop open the java/script for the page, copy and paste in some sort of refresh code, and have my connection refresh the site every 15 seconds to keep up with the conversation?

I know nothing about formatting a website so I have no idea if this is at all possible...could be a cool idea for an add on, too, if you (U2start) can manipulate it from your end and make it something a user could toggle on and off (Auto refresh by : __ seconds).

I don't like the idea of implementing the auto-refresh ourselves... it can be a pain in the ass for our server, specially on show nights when a lot of users are connected at the same time...

Nevertheless, it can absolutely be done - although I think it can be done by you as a third user and not the web programmer, I don't find the way...

EDIT. Found it. I gotta loooooooooove the internet. Everything is there.

  6. There are addons for firefox / chrome that can do auto refresh indeed.

On the u2start todo list there is something similar but its far from being realised

  7. I guess just for the sake of knowing. Some sites/hubs require bootlegs to be lossless and lossless only, and I was hoping I could share the show that way as well.
