    You'd certainly hope.
  2. I'd agree with Nate. iTunes and all the other iLife stuff runs flawlessly on my Mac. Slow, occasionally, but that's more to do with my processor speed than anything else
  3. the iPod is being picked up tomorrow. Sad day

If they can get it turned round as quick as they send stuff from the store you'll have it Monday which won't be too bad.

What's your processor speed? About 2.0GHz?
  8. I fixed the 'Determining Gapless Playback' thing. According to the Apple document:

Gapless playback means that there is no pause in playback between the end of one audio file and the beginning of the next audio file. This allows for playback of content with no gaps the way it was meant to be heard. Some examples of gapless albums include:

"Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd
    "Abbey Road" by The Beatles
    Many live and classical albums
    Gapless Playback in iTunes

Gapless playback is always on in iTunes 7 or later unless the Crossfade feature is turned on. If Crossfade is on, only audio files that have the "Part of a gapless album" option checked and are capable of being played gaplessly will play with no gaps

Crossfade playback is in the Playback section of iTunes preferences.

And if I just let it run, like I did, it doesn't do it again. Maybe iTunes might be usable.
  9. Now that we're on iTunes...when I'm listening to music on the computer using iTunes (don't judge me for this!), how do I make it play unchecked songs as well?! With shuffle turned on, it only plays checked songs.

    G'day Ali!

If you untick the song boxes then they won't play. Creating a Smart Playlist might do something.

That's the way it works; it will just bypass them and not bother because they're not selected and therefore not officially part of your library.

WTF?! I have 61 GB of music and just 2 GB of iPod memory...if I want to use iTunes as my music player, I should be able to choose 2GB of my music to be on the iPod, but listen to all of them on the computer
