1. I like Safari, especially the most recent version, for my MacBook. No problems with it.
  2. I do like that Metro interface for Windows Phone, so it should definitely be interesting to see how it works on a desktop. You're using a beta version, Chris, or a RC - is it worth downloading and having a try of it to see if I like it?

Just looks totally strange but change can be good. So this is why it requires lesser hardware than other versions of Windows of recent memory (e.g. Vista, 7 etc)?
  3. MS released a 'developer preview'. Its like a beta, free for everyone to download. Since w8 = w7 + metro interface, it is expected to be heavier. So somehow they speed up the system in another way.
  4. ^ Thanks for that. Looks interesting to say the least, the reception though when it gets released might be different.

Trying to create a Youtube video with just audio and a black background - anyone know how? I can use Mac or Windows.

iMovie? You can then upload directly to Youtube from iMovie.
  6. Ahhhhh didn't think of that.
  7. Trying to get an old version of Handbrake to work (haven't used it in quite some time), but I'm only able to get the first 33 seconds of a movie to convert. It says the ETA is 53 minutes at the start, but then it only does the conversion for about 1 minute, then kicks out a 33 second clip of the opening titles of the movie I'm trying to rip. Any thoughts? I thought it was a free program, maybe I only have a trial version or something? Help?
  8. Edit: Probably a copyright/encryption thing, yeah?
  9. Can you not update to latest version? Ie never had an issue with copyright, have to say...
  10. Tried downloading the most current version, and I'm deep in a "VLC, 32bit/64bit" mess at the moment. My computer is a bit old, maybe it doesn't like the newest version of Handbrake.
  11. 2TB Harddrive.

    Wohooooo, happiness
  12. I've got an issue with my iPod classic and I can't really find what I need to do. Whenever I am listening to a song, if I use the scroll to either adjust the volume or change the song, the song freezes for about a second. This also happens when I have it on lock and I unlock it. If anyone has an idea what I can do to fix this, I'd appreciate it. The iPod is less than a year old. I looked on apple's site for help but couldn't find an answer.
