  8. Nice indeed. I am keen to try the N8 out in a concert setting. With a steady hand I recon it would do a good job. Records in stereo too.

    Advice: do NOT sing along. N8's "stereo" is more of a front+back stereo, so it picks up the stage sound in one channel and the sound behind the phone (=you) in the other. I have tried it at several -small- concerts and it becomes somewhat of a Band X (left channel) + Sergio (right channel) recording But if you can stay quiet enough, it becomes a powerful recording device. Mics don't saturate too early (you have to be very close to the PA and/or at a insanely high volume concert) and image quality is as good as you already know.
  10. Anyone know how to open docx files? Running XP and old as shit Word so new documents and unable to be opened. Need to edit and print these documents so viewers aren't much use.
  11. MS has a import plugin for docx documents for older word versions (at least for version 2003)
