1. Dear Youtube. Maybe your old design wasn't that pretty, but what it did was work.

I'm not having any functional problems but I don't like that the whole site is now just various shades of grey... Actually I'm lying. HTML5 video's really don't work anymore.
  3. Don't really use YouTube but I'm loving the new layout. Same goes for Twitter, excpet I use that
  4. new day, new question. I hope someone here can help me as on countless times before

I plan to take my laptop to Ireland. Never did that before, but I want to now.

on the places I stay, I'll have this free WiFi thingy. So I understand that I can go online with my own laptop, right? what do I need for that? I think I understand I need a webstick as a replacement of a modem-sort-of-thing to go online?

what do I need when going for the webstick?

my laptop has windows xp and no wlan router/card at all. It has a modem inside but I guess this is not relevant here.

Help? I'm more clueless than ever
  5. You need a wifi adapter. And USB adapter is the easiest solution. They should have those at any store selling pc related stuff.
  6. so I go into a pc store and ask for a wifi USB adapter?
  7. If your laptop doesn't have an internal wifi searcher/connector, yes, you have to ask for a WiFi USB adapter. They're cheap, don't worry

You will need a USB wifi adapter. This will allow you to connect to any free wifi spots you find. Preferably get one that supports Wireless-N technology although this is not necessary. Really though just look for the cheapest one that has decent reviews.

Edit: Okay, didn't see all those other replies... I'm a little late
  9. At least we all agree
  10. I picked one up on Amazon for a desktop PC for no more than £5. Works brilliantly, hasn't once dropped out or lagged behind. Cheap as chips.
  11. Kirsten, you need an USB WiFi adapter.
  12. Ordered the Lumia 800
