1. Yeah MS did its best on the UI. Its beautiful

Above is just the default UI stuff. From the project template
  2. That really looks well-done so far, even in beta. So is this likely to be, given Windows 8 is using that new interface, be compatible with that?
  3. Dont know, but should be easy to modify for W8. But even then the app would look boring on a full hd screen

The site works just as good on a computer on my iPod. LTs, everything... I usually don't use sites' apps anyway. The sites themselves are usually way better.

I agree, however 90 % of all apps replace the need of visiting the website. Public transport info, news, etc. The u2start website will always be ahead of the app, but the app should be lean enough to quickly check for new posts etc

And actually the only reason I started on it is to learn the SDK

Yeah, usually. U2start is a pain in the arse to use on a phone unless you're on the mobile version. Too much scrolling involved. Would be nice to swipe left for active topics and tap. Simple.

It works fine, just like a PC except it's a lot more time consuming.
  10. I just jailbroke my iTouch 4G, iOS 5.0.1 works fine.
