Better news from Apple. Brand new iPod Classic en route to me now. Oh yea

    Holy Mother of God.

    That's unbe'fucking'lievable.

Great news on the Classic mate
  5. Another question I have (yes, don't get a shock).

Is it possible to add bass and adjust dB levels, to an MP3 file I've downloaded, without re-encoding like mp3directcut does - it doesn't seem to have this capability - otherwise I lose all the gapless info. It just sounds awfully flat even from the DVD.

I kinda understand why you love Mac's now...
  10. Please keep the spam updates rolling. They're giving me a good laugh.
  11. Here you go, the complete rundown of what Jobs introduced in San Fransisco MacWorld 2008:

    Time Capsule with 500GB - 1TB drives
    - 500GB to 1TB hard drives
    - Wireless connectivity

iPhone / iTouch software development kit and updates
    - To be released in February
    - Mail, Stocks, Weather, Maps and Notes for iTouch
    - iPhone update free but iTouch costs $US20
    - I don't think there's any updates to iPod classic or video

    iTunes Movie Rental
    - US$2.99 and New Releases are $3.99
    - 1000 movies available to rent right now
    - 30 days to watch and 24 hours before expiring
    - Movies are DVD quality (640 x 480)???
    - iTunes 7.6 also announced
    - More DRM than ever before

    MacBook Air (as shown above)
    - 80GB 4200rpm IDE drive
    - Non-expandable memory
    - 64GB flash-memory an option
    - One USB2.0 port
    - No wireless broadband
    - Non-replaceable battery

    Apple TV
    - New user interface
    - HD support and Dolby 5.1
    - Can be used standalone
    - Improved photo sharing and Flickr

    One More Thing...
    - Didn't happen this year which is a first

That MacBook Air interface looks exactly like my Ubuntu with the top bar and dock. Honestly, I find that laptop ugly. The earlier ones look nicer.
  12. The whole MacBook Air thing seems useless to me...it doesn't even have wireless broadband?!
