  1. What size you going for?
  2. 40+ I suppose... Well, it comes to what's being offered in your local stores I guess, I can tell you that LG's are very cheap right now in Madrid but maybe they're ultra expensive in Belfast, and viceversa.
  3. I have a 42" LG TV in the lounge, self calibrated and it's as good as any TV I've seen. Took me about a month to pick out the right TV on a budget. Very happy with it though.
  4. I think im gonna go Plasma. 42" would do fine in the apartment. LCD has its pros but I like deep blacks and LCD can't reach those Plasma levels of black.
  5. Having problems with music on my iPod. There's about 10 songs it won't play, yet they played fine the other day.

    What happens is, you go through the music menu to select a song, press it and it just throws you back to the main album page. Anyone had that before?
  6. On work now, behind a 27" iMac with Windows 7 on it. Is that blasphemy?

  8. Its yet another HTC running android with a bloated spec sheet. Wouldn't take one for free. Lumia 900 or Nokia 808 next in line for me.

  10. New iPad anyone? I'm not a sucker for high res screens but I am patiently awaiting to see the new price for the iPad 2 in the UK. £299 likely but hopefully a bit cheaper. Me and the missus would happily trade in a laptop and a netbook for one.
  11. I won't ever be keen on the tablet family (that includes iPad), but I can see why it can appeal to someone.


    By the way, keeping on the Apple bashing, I heard a good joke today:

    -Oh my God, Apple is releasing a new gizmo!!!
    -What is it?
    -I don't know, but I want it so badly!!!
