1. Flashed an update for the Lumia, supposedly this will increase battery time.

    Fingers crossed

  2. Haven't got it yet (bloody network locked phone) but im running mine on 2g and the battery is great so im happy enough for now.
  3. Reading things about the Lumia...is it worth getting one?
  4. I want one of the new Apple TVs... they look like they're fantastic.

Took me some efforts as well. Mine is unbranded, but uploaded the update as deliverd to people in Singapore. Idle usage seems lower, but 3G is terrible for the battery. Worse than on the N900.

But as long it makes it through the day its enough for me

  6. Its a refreshing phone. Back to the basics, very fluid interface.

If you want a better than average camera or multiple days on the battery its not your thing though.

If you want multiple battery days, NOTHING is your thing nowadays
  8. Since the last update battery life is heaps better. Also noticed that in areas with bad reception the battery drains drastically with 3G turned on. With that in mind and the new update I can easily manage a whole day
  9. Was it the 8107 update you got or the newer one again? I'm more than happy with 3g off. Getting a day and a half.
  10. They are both in the 8107 range. Mine is 1600.2487.8107.12070. Previous was 11451 or something. I think you should be able to update as well. But if you dont have any issues I'd wait for the official Zune update.
  11. Thinking about ditching the 800 for a 710. Only downgrade would be the screen. Got offered a 710 for £130 so if I sell the 800 I should have at least £130 left over plus another £130 I got for selling my netbook. Can use that for a tablet. Sounds easy doesn't it?
