  2. Dont think that is possible with System Restore. What often is the case is that you got a reset dvd or a recovery partition on disk.

    No optical drive. I'll consult the manual. What would formatting the C: disk do?

    I could just uninstall chrome (the only browser I ever used) and delete all the temp files. It's only going to a relative but I wouldn't know who they would let use it etc.
  4. Formatting wont help, will leave you with an unusable machine (then you will need to reinstall windows anyway)

    Do you get any options on boot? What kind of thing are we talking about, should be described in the manual?

    Just found an option in the start menu lol.

    Taking the plunge on an iPad 2. Shifting the Lumia for an N8 aswell.
  6. There's an option to leave everything as new, like you just installed W7 on an empty partition.

    What computer are you selling? And why are you coming back to the N8, lol???

    I'm just selling a little netbook I had for a year. Back to an N8 as it's better than the Lumia as a phone, battery is better, camera is better and it's built better. I can have the N8 as my phone (with all essential apps) and use the iPad as my fun device for games and all that jazz.
  8. Is battery really better on the N8 than on the Lumia?? Wow. Mine is starting to seriously fail. I think dropping and hitting the phone a million times would have had an impact; everything is perfectly working, but battery is pretty much fucked up.

    Yours seems like a good strategy anyway. Do you plan on getting a used N8 ora new one? They're cheap enough new.
  9. Battery is terrible on Lumia without latest updates. Cant believe some people get 4 days on it. Before update 14 hrs or something like that.

    Now I do get > 24 hrs

    New or immaculate. Would love a blue one but they are rare.
  12. I **almost** got the blue one! I got it ordered and confirmed but then Vodafone told me they had ran out of them and I had to wait one month or get a dark grey in 2 days....... aaahhh the anxiety.
