Me neither. We shall see what happens.
  2. Have you seen this video?

  3. That's brilliance - particularly the old Bell-style iPhone. I gotta get going anyway to grab some stuff.

Catch ya later and we'll see where that topic goes.

    Bye Drew.

  5. I'm SO glad they didn't take inspiration from these concepts when they designed the iPhone!
  6. If anyone's at all interested, I thought I'd bring up the topic of media centers. Essentially they're computers which you can use purely for multimedia like recording and playing TV, videos, music, DVDs, games etc - has anyone seen one before and liked it?

Microsoft Windows Media Centre (what I use), Linux MythTV and Apple FrontRow are probably the best-known three examples of a Media Centre. They're a little difficult to get going perfectly (mine still hasn't been set up as I'd like it to be after two years!). I'm pretty sure Nate might have an idea if he's ever seen Media Center in Vista - and still uses it.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_center for more about it.
  7. I have a question about earphones: Why is the left wire so short? Why aren't they both equal in length? My brothers bought himself some Creative In-Ear plugs and he doesn't have this 'problem'..

the left one goes in your ear as normal and the longer right plug is meant to go around the back of your neck then into your ear. Clever little design in my opinion but not loved by all. Keeps the wires away from your hands

give it a go for a while. You might get used to it. I hated it at first to
  11. Thought I'd ask the question:

On a DVD like Los Angeles 1987-11-18 or Buenos Aires 2006-03-02 how do you do a menu like that so I can press Start or select from the song list and also maybe incorporate other features like different audio streams, say a 2.1 English and 5.1 English stream? And have a song playing in the background and a picture.

Someone who makes the DVDs from scratch might be able to give me a suggestion for a program (either free, open-source or paid-for) or at least get me thinking in the right direction. I've been looking at VideoReDo, TGMPEG, VirtualDub, Nero VisionExpress and Windows Media Centre 2005 but nothing even looks to do half a decent job.
