Dreamweaver is a good website-developing program, but quite expensive unless you can get it in an other way. I'm sure Remy will have some solutions for you.

Thanks. I guess I'm really looking to find out what the best way to do it is. It doesn't need to be complicated at all, just some clickable thumbnails really....am I better off paying someone else to do it, or is it pretty simple? Thanks again, MWSAH

In that case, Freewebs could come in mind. But it gives you standard templates without creative freedom to change anything except colours. But there surely are some other options at hand...I just don't know them

I'm very appreciative of your help. Maybe someone else might be able to offer some suggestions as well. Thanks again!

She just bought a domain name to put up some of her work (she's an artist), and I told her I'd help her with the website, but I don't really know what I'm doing. If there's a relatively easy program to use, I'm sure I can figure it out. Also, being able to customize it some would be ideal, and not just some cookie-cutter templates. Thanks in advance!

Nvu is free and works well - nvu.com. You can write your own HTML and do image galleries with it and code templates - or download some from the web. Nice and easy to learn - I don't know of any others. FreeWebs is not bad but a bit limited in what it offers - but again, it's free.

    Grrr...
Weird stores here...the models they have, lots of 1GBs, but when it turns to 2GBs, the vid card (GPU) and everything else also increase a lot!! I don't need a top-model graphics unit, I'm not getting it to play games on it!
So, the 2GB models are noticeably higher in price, for that shitty reason

More GPU memory is important for Vista (not XP) because it's mostly all 3D and the processing is shifted onto the GPU, meaning you can reserve more CPU power for whatever you need. It sounds weird but it works quite well. If it wasn't really graphic-intensive then it would be slower due to the CPU and RAM being used all the time.

Thanks, Drew. I knew you'd have something good for me!

I found this to be quite interesting. Universal has a deal with Microsoft to receive a cut of the sales from their Zune. U2 Zune anyone?

  7. I'm not sure if this really fits in "technology" and even if any of you guys have any idea...but here it goes...

It's been a while since I've played video games...as I'm in holidays now, I want to play some...I want a good strategy game, any ideas? Make it something new, and not too fantasy-type (such as Warcraft)...

It should, I say. Tried Command and Conquer, or Final Fantasy?

Don't think there's been too many strategy games as of late.

It was fun, but I forgot all about it. I think Thief Deadly Shadows (if you can still get it) is a good strategy game.
  11. I didn't get to see your answer
But I got C&C3, believe it's good...and I have played Medieval, fun indeed
