  1. No, in iTunes, you go to your iPad, the Apps tab, scroll down and there is this part designed for adding documents to apps, you choose AV Player HD and hit Browse, choose the videos and there you go

  3. No probs. There are other players in the App Store too, but I'm really happy with AV Player HD.
  4. Having to restore my iPod Classic today. It's been running terribly slow over the past couple of weeks. Hopefully this will set it straight.
  5. Loved my old Classic. I just couldn't carry 2 devices about with me now though. I actually got my original U2 iPod out of the draw the other day. It switched on but it only dlgave me the sad face icon. Ah well still looks good.

  7. I find amazing that the first series of iPods are muuuuuch more resilient and trustworthy than modern reissues. Most people who bought a 1st Gen iPod Classic still have it today; most people who bought a 2008 iPod Nano or any other model has butchered it for one reason or another.
  8. I had both U2 iPod's, and then I went and sold them. I can't for the life of me remember why. I still hate myself for selling it. I loved that thing so much.

    I wanted one so badly back in the day, but I was too young, still didn't have my own money and couldn't push myself to spend it off my parents... And now, most of them have battery or screen failures and don't work anymore, and the ones which work are too expensive to be worth the money. Ahhh

    It's fine techically. It syncs ok, battery life is still great and up until the past couple of weeks, it was fast. Then it just slowed up. Just hoping a fresh restore and sync will get it back up to speed.

    As for the point Gerard made, I'd ditch it when I'm out if I had an iPhone. I like my playlists etc that are based around play counts (yes, I love statistics and what not) and I don't know if it's possible to have that integration with Android. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but I've always just preferred iPod over phone. But like I said, if I had an iPhone (32GB would be nice) then I wouldn't have to bother with all that, just sync and go. Everything inside iTunes would be updated nicely. Also I would bet money on the iPhone being better battery wise.

    The more I sit discussing this, the more I lean towards an iPhone. I'll probably just get one when the iPhone 5 is released and be done with it, or get an iPhone 4S on the cheap.
  11. You can sync iTunes fully with Android phones including playlists and star ratings etc.


  12. That's it. Super small, cheap and with as much storage as you want (it has 2GB of internal memory and miniSD card input). The best mp3 I ever had. And battery lasts for ages.
