    Good luck mate :M
  2. I am quite sure it is malware instead of a hacker. If you need any help, send a PM
  3. It is a laptop, I was just hoping you could tell me how to take it back to factory settings, Please, windows Vista it is,
    Thankyou.
  4. That depends on the laptop, maybe during booting there is an option to restore your laptop. If not hold F8 while booting, you will get a menu, might be there.

Restoring to factory settings equals data loss though, make backups.
  5. Ok thanks, I tried F11 system recovery but it just started as normal and skipped it, which completely confused me bc nothing happened, will try it thanks.
  6. Did the laptop come with a recovery DVD?
  7. Which model is your laptop? It will be easier that way.
  8. Compac hp think its built in
  9. Im going to try a few things first then if nothing work then im going to throw it in the trash, jk''
Im going to give it to a friend to look at,
    but hopefully not.
Dont know why system recovery wont work when I press it.
Anyhow will check back in later if pc works
    Thanks again fellows.
  10. "Compaq HP" is not a model There are models that come with a specific button to access the factory reset menu, others use a F10 / F11 / F12 key at the start, others need a recovery CD... Anyway, you should be able to format it anyway just having the Windows installation CD/DVD. Start your PC with that disco inserted and you'll be directed to the Windows installation menu. Format your hard disc and every problem *should* disappear...

Try the buttons Sergio said. If no luck, try searching in Google for your laptop's complete model name + recovery. That's how I found my laptop's recovery menu button
  12. Thankyou fellows
