  1. There are a couple of rumours. The 3G one is almost certainly correct (not that I care since I can just tether it to my phone) but they're also planning (apparently) to refresh the Nexus 7 in order to drum up some hype for the Christmas shoppers.
  2. I want to buy a laptop, I'm gonna need it for work if I end up moving to Ireland, so it's more a need than a pleasure (I've never liked laptops).

    HP? Sony? Acer? Toshiba?

    I don't need a super high-end thing, but it's going to be my main amusement besides my work station, so I would like it to be at least decent at a moderate use of movies or games. 15 inches screen minimum. My budget won't be higher than 450€/400£ sadly.

    Suggestions? I know my conditions aren't easy but... Thanks in advance

    I'll have a look around. I'm usually quite good at finding this sort of thing.
  4. If you like couponing have a look at Dell, if you look around there is always a way to get some savings there.
  5. Dell? Ugliest laptops in my opinion I haven't had or tried one for years, though, maybe their newer products are fine... My ex-gf has an HP Pavilion dv6-1115es and I loved it when she bought it, back in January of this year. It was 420€ new and I would be happy with a similar offer. I'm making my way through online stores catalogues and then searching for each model I like in the internet (opinions and specs) but it's so BORING
  6. Toshiba A300 for myself, used but in VG condition... 200€. Bargain!
  7. Dell's are not that ugly imho. And with couponing you get much for your money. Although I only investigated the 800-1000 euro range last summer.
  8. Anyone with a Mac with Mountain Lion installed that knows how to rip audio from a copy-protected (I assume it's copy-protected) DVD?

  10. How does Bootcamp work? Then I could use DVD Decrypter at least.

    I'm getting a power supply for my pedal board, and I've been looking at this one:



    Problem is, the wall plug it comes with is UK style, and I need the US style wall plug. Luckily, it's a separate part (as you can see), but does anybody know what I'm even looking for in terms of what kind of cable that is? I don't even know what it's called and I'm googling around like an idiot. One end needs to plug into the box, with that trapezoid type shape, and the other end needs to plug into an American-style wall outlet:
