I'm getting a power supply for my pedal board, and I've been looking at this one:
Problem is, the wall plug it comes with is UK style, and I need the US style wall plug. Luckily, it's a separate part (as you can see), but does anybody know what I'm even looking for in terms of what kind of cable that is? I don't even know what it's called and I'm googling around like an idiot. One end needs to plug into the box, with that trapezoid type shape, and the other end needs to plug into an American-style wall outlet:
What's exactly your question, Matt? Power cables are a bitch but easily switchable as long as voltage is the right one... If the pedal comes with a UK plug but works at the same voltage as you wall plug provides, you only need of of these: http://www.amazon.com/VCT-VP18-Adapter-Converts-Grounded/dp/B000NND600
Although the power cable show in your pic is NOT the UK type but the standard-Europe type (the one I have in Spain):
I (well, my wife) recently had photos done of our kids....not really necessary information here. However, I mention it because we received a CD containing all the pics from the photographer and also somehow put one of the pictures on its surface - and it wasn't some sort of sticker. Anyway, it got me wanting to be able to do something like this for some of the CD's I burn. You know, to make them look....nice...professional. Assuming I can get a hold of the CD art (or create something myself), what programs could I use?
