I like the look if the surface and Windows 8 in general. It's good to see a new approach to UI rather than static grids of icons. The Surface as a device seems awkward though with the 16;9 ratio. It just looks too damn tall. Throw in the lack of certain apps that I specifically bought the iPad for then its unfortunately a non starter for me. It looks like I'll be on the iPad for good which is annoying as Ape won't change it. A retina MacBook pro would be immense but ye cost is too much and I wouldn't use it to its full potential either.
Still want to try a Nexus 7.
