  4. Yep, a notification every single time that a wifi net is found. Moreover, doing a slower scan rate (maybe 5 minutes instead of each 5 seconds or so) would help with the battery life for sure.
  5. Hmmm think WP7 scans often as well, but you can turn off notification.
  6. hmm, I believe you can just turn the notifications off. Go to settings, wifi, then from the menu choose advanced. There is an option called network notification, take the tick off.
  7. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but on iTunes, it struggles to import some CDs. There are some that import without a problem but others just don't kickstart and it stays at the start of the first song. I was thinking maybe it's my cd drive, or if it's iTunes.

    Anyone know anything about this?
  8. It might be copy protected, I've had trouble before. What CD is it?

    Check to see if any are listed on here: MediaMax CD-3 Protection

    The album that I had trouble with is listed there. But that was bought in the year of release, since then I've bought a different copy (last year) and it ripped fine so I assume later pressings have the protection removed.

  11. I assume your other discs work, so I won't suggest trying one. The issue is likely to be the disc. There was a trick for bypassing protection on some discs and that was to hold the shift key down before you insert the disc (I'd keep it held down until the disc shows in iTunes). Then try to import the CD.

    If that doesn't work, then I can only suggest that you try another program to rip the audio, maybe EAC or something similar.
