1. Kieran, given that you actually own the music, why not download an accurate rip from the internet?
  2. That is a very good point actually. It wouldn't be the first time I've done it. Damn, how didn't I think of that? I'll make it my last port of call.

    Cheers!
  3. Depending on how quick is your internet connection, downloading a FLAC rip might be even faster than ripping it yourself
  4. Anyone ever had this problem before?

The other day i was using iTunes, importing songs onto my phone, when it froze. I had to force quit out of iTunes, then when i went to go back into it, a message came up saying some file was missing.

Now pretty much 95% of my music library is fookn gone. Its going to take ages re-ripping all the cd's is there a way to fix it?
  5. Did you rename you music folder?

If the disk space is still ocuppied, the music is still there, somewhere. Try searching for a specific song name on the Windows / Mac command search, and see if it's found anywhere. Maybe forcing iTunes to close corrupted some properties or somehow managed to move your music away to the Temp folder or something. Not sure, just throwing out ideas...

  7. nope, didn't touch any of the folder names

some songs look like they've just been deleted from iTunes, and are still in their usual spots on my HDD. other songs look like they've been deleted alltogether, i can't find them anywhere

Eg. for U2 Unreleased and Rare, Mercy is missing in iTunes, and it is missing in my music folder too .... dafuq?

think im going to have to suck it up and remake my whole library, its too hot to do anything outside anyway.

    Cheers for the input guys.
  8. Songs that don't appear in iTunes but still on the HDD you just need to throw into iTunes again, if the files aren't corrupt or anything.
  9. Officially the coolest laptop ever.

  10. Hahaha! That laptop rocks
  11. Got one of the Xperia Arc LT5i phones here running 2.3.4 Android stock. Any idea how to 'root' it safely? Lol - but seriously, need a tutorial that makes it overtly obvious and easy for someone like me (who has no idea about technology whatsoever).
