  4. Something similar happened in Amazon a few months back when a couple of Tannoy (aka very hi fi) speakers were put on sale at a reduced price of 9'90€ instead of the intended 99'00€ (they were 250€ originally). No wonders - they returned the money to the buyers and apologized for the mistake
  5. I know those things, but my 800 was 'cheap' as well (around 400 euro in total with good contract). This is too good to be true, but at least one guy already got his delivered.
  6. Just purchased a HomeWizard (Dutch company) package, to start automating my home.. Lights, weather information, smoke detectors: all will either sent messages to my phone, and/or will I be able to control or automate them using my phone or online panel. Looking forward to another use of our nowaday technology

    Wow, that's amazing, when I move to my own house I want it to have that kind of automatizations (is that the word? lol)... Being able to switch on the washing machine or to turn off the heating while you're away must be awesome

  9. Judging on the site the starter kits go from 240 - 330 euro.

Correct, a starter kit is 240 euro (around 300 US$) which will give you the home device, two pair of sockets, a remote and a weather kit which you can use to measure temperature and read that live and historically out from your phone (or any device). It's very cheap to buy new equipment for it that will seamlessly work with the home device, 20 euro for 2 sockets and a remote, 25 euro for a socket with dim-ability etc.

    There are also devices that connect with your energy source (how much energy does your house use per second etc.), with your curtains (automatically close or open them), IP camera's, motion detectors, door/window open/close detectors and much much more But let's start with the basic stuff.
