1. Well I would say it's easier, cause when you're cooking "and stuff" you won't hear things properly anyway, which makes it not so good for spoken word such as audiobooks.
  2. +1 ^
  3. Wireless headsets have to be charged, you have to buy them, they may get lost?

Or you just use your speakers.
  4. And you get a lot more isolated from the things around you with headphones...

    And they are pricey
  5. Quality = €$£

  6. Canthear timers going off or the doorbell ring etc with headphones. A decent speaker is best for 15 minute sessions of listening. Nokiaa are usually grand on this front.
  7. Anybody had this annoying-as-hell extension to your browser call Babylon? Its taken over my Chrome browser and can't seem to get rid of it at all. Each new tab opens a babylon search bar instead if Google. Anybody know how to get rid of it?
  8. I'm not sure if it is plug-in, an extension or has it just changed your homepage. However, here are solutions for each option, try them all:

First of all check your settings to make sure it isn't a just a homepage change.
    If not,
open a new tab and for address type about:plugins and press enter. It will bring up a list of plugins, check them and if you see a babylon plugin, delete or disable it.

open a new tab and for address type about:extensions and press enter. It will bring up a list of extensions, check them and if you see a babylon extension, delete or disable it.

  10. Had that Babylon crap myself. It's not an extension within chrome though. I managed to remove it from add/remove in the I control panel (or equivalent if on a mac)
  11. Yeah I've changed all the settings within chrome for new tabs and default search engines. Will have another look through those links you posted when I get home Ali, thanks a million.

Think I've got rid of it in the control panel too yet still appears in a new tab. Dunno where it even came from, apparently it comes bundled with other software.
