1. Lumia 620. Fantastic little thing for the price. I think this one will be with me for a while.

I will try to change the battery tonight, I have a spare battery at my grandma's that maybe can turn the phone into working again. Oh well

did look around for a quick solution but couldn't find any. I'm too busy with uni stuff to do it right now, so I suggest you search in here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2054

The closest thing I found was this, but I'm not sure if it is the correct solution:

  3. Ali's always there for advice!
  4. THe phone just turned on itself after 12 hours of being plugged to the power cord. No battery swap finally, but the one it has now seems to be badly damaged or something, it didn't charge fully until 24 hours and it has discharged in less than 12 hours on moderately heavy use. Oh well, viva eBay...
  5. probably a fault battery as you say then. I would keep testing it tho...

  6. I've got no warranty, I got it second hand a few months ago when my N8 was stolen. Nah, I've bought 5 chinese spares from eBay, I will have them continuously in a charge cycle so I never run out of battery. A mess, but...
  7. Nokia service points often dont look at receipts, but have their own records about warranty.

And since the 620 is by definition younger than 2 years you had a good chance that they wouldve fixed any issue.
