  3. I don't know much about phones and since my current subscription ends in about a month I'm looking for a new phone. I now got the HTC Desire S and I'm pretty satisfied about it, only it doesn't hold much apps.
    Since my phone is a bit old and some buttons (On/Off, Sound) don't work anymore I'm looking for a new one.

    Soooo my question is, which phone is the ''best'' on the market now? I don't want an iPhone since they are far too expensive.
  4. Bart I dont know if this is too pricey for you but I picked up an iPhone 4 on ebay for $295 au including postage and handling. Its in mint condition!

  6. If thats the case why not ask on FB if anyone has a decent phone they dont need anymore for a cheap price bc you are a student? You may be surprised?
  7. Yeah, thats also an option, but I do have some money to get a new phone, I now play 35 euro's each month for my phone so its not like I don't want to spend any money on it.

    I was just wondering which phone you guys (Or girls ) think is the best one out there right now.

    The Nexus 4 is superb. I purchased it on the Google Play Store and got a SIM only 1-month contract which just keeps going until I want to leave Three. All-you-can-eat data, 300 texts and 500 minutes for £12. Very nice. The phone, however, is excellent and I've spent £239 wisely.

    Does anyone here play Ingress? It's a fantastic real-life game made by Niantic, a group within Google. It's basically like capture the flag where there is two teams fighting for 'portals' and you actually have to travel to that place to capture the portal. Obviously, GPS detects your position and everything. Uses a lot of battery but it's worth it. I played six hours worth yesterday in the city centre of Edinburgh. Managed to use a full battery of my Nexus 7 and half of my Nexus 4.

    I would need the 16gb model at 279 but still good value and the used prices are falling all the time. Will definitely consider a 4 if they near £200. Still only dipping my toe back in the android pond but it's always good to have nice hardware.

    Sounds a fun game that. Will have a look and see if there are many online in Belfast.

  12. Just had a look at a 4 in town. Very nice. If it compares favourably against the Galaxy Nexus in terms of sunlight legibility then I think I'll be trading in for one of those before long.
