  1. The ad doesn't give a clue regarding their in/outputs, but if they have this kind of inputs (which I assume they have)



    then you need an adapter - but an easy, cheap one. I have one myself.


    My audio chain is:

    PC > minijack male/male cable > minijack female to RCA stereo male adapter > bookshelf speakers + subwoofer.


    You can of course skip a step by directly buying a minijack male to RCA stereo male cable, like this:

  2. Ah yes. I have both those sets of cables somewhere around here. Should work then - thanks Sergio.


    EDIT: Went and found some decent 5.1 Altec Lansing speakers - great sound for less than half the price at a second-hand store. Hooked them up and they sound great so far - but now need to get a 5.1 split cable (centre / sub + front +) rear to have the lot working.

    Still, better than using the thin-as-shit Mac sound through the inbuilt speakers.
  4. Looks nice! Too bad it's Android-only but looks definitely nice. Like the color screen (too bad that won't work well in sunlight, which I like about the Pebble) and the 4 day battery life.

  6. It's a week, though you can expand or shorten that by using or not use a battery consuming watchfase.
  7. I still like the Pebble more...depends on how customizable the Sony one is. I wonder if Apple will also release something similar.
  8. IPad mini ordered. Really should have waited for the second version but refurbs from Apple were £230 and I've agreed to sell my iPad 2 for £220 so all good.

  10. Too small. And android still isn't there as a table OS. I'm just about happy with Jellybean on my Galaxy Nexus.
  11. When apple work out to get a 'retina' display into this mini it really will kick ass. Lovely weight.
  12. Anyone know how to make a countdown, somewhat like the Pearl Jam one, but full screen? I need it for school and if anyone knows how to do it it would be very helpful! Anyone websites? I have looked some stuff up but none have been right. Thanks!
