1. Will try it on the iPad mini when I get home but the fact that I have already bought a Nexus 7 suggests my mind is made up already.

Did you buy first or second gen Nexus 7?
  3. He bought the 2nd gen

    Still loving mine.

Installed it on my iPad 2 today...not sure what to think. The style is good and bad. I like some of the new look. But it feels like a mixture of MIUI on Android and MeeGo.
The notifications are better. The whole thing feels better and more in control deep down.
  5. Yeah I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS7 and I like how it looks, but at the same time some of the animations take too long if that makes sense. For example, just to get out of an app you press the home button and you have to go through a whole process it feels like... but I don't hate it as much as most people seem to be. I'd give it a B-.
  6. Yea, noticed the same exact thing. At first I thought it was lagging and the device was acting slower but then I noticed that it's just the animations that are longer than usual...no lags, just long animations :/
  7. It's pretty dumb in my opinion. You throw out the fastest hardware you've ever designed and slow it down with incredibly long animations. Plain stupid.
  8. Nexus 4 up and running. Lovely. I am 100% android now. IOS 7 terrible looking on the ipad. No going back. A shame streaming quality on Sky Go and Netflix is poor on the Nexus 7. Hopefully only an update in the way.
  9. Wise choice, Ger. 100% Android all the way.
  10. Android still needs a lot of work. Happy enough for now though.
  11. iOS7 is alright in the features it offers - the white on white and transparency styling is a little bit much at times.

The only things I'd change with it:

    - allow you to customise Control Centre e.g. different toggles, app shortcuts etc.

    - instead of the little 'x' in Safari to close tabs, make it slightly larger.
  12. Had to factory reset Nexus 4 today. Something was hammering the battery and location services were playing up. Hopefully all is sorted.
