  1. Nexus 4 up and running. Lovely. I am 100% android now. IOS 7 terrible looking on the ipad. No going back. A shame streaming quality on Sky Go and Netflix is poor on the Nexus 7. Hopefully only an update in the way.

  3. Android still needs a lot of work. Happy enough for now though.
  4. iOS7 is alright in the features it offers - the white on white and transparency styling is a little bit much at times.

    The only things I'd change with it:

    - allow you to customise Control Centre e.g. different toggles, app shortcuts etc.

    - instead of the little 'x' in Safari to close tabs, make it slightly larger.
  5. Had to factory reset Nexus 4 today. Something was hammering the battery and location services were playing up. Hopefully all is sorted.

    Lots of people are reporting really REALLY bad battery life and overall functionality with iOS 7 on older devices...
  7. Anybody and everybody on Androod needs to install FWeather widget. Simple text based weather with a twist. For eg mine currently says "Just Fucking Grey. Cold like a fucking fridge". Disable your GPS and it will say "dafuq dude. I don't have a fucking crystal ball here". Hilarious

  10. Nexus 4 battery still shit. 10% an hour with light usage. I can't imagine it's meant to be this much worse than the Galaxy Nexus.

    Something is preventing the phone from sleeping. Grgh. A weekends fiddling required.
  11. Nexus 4 battery looks to have settled. Even with WiFi off it was still scanning. I found a check box in advanced WiFi settings and disabled it. Looks OK. Bloody android and its too many settings.
  12. Battery life of modern devices is sucky nonetheless. Imho that should become a unique selling point.

    The current stats of standby time etc are just ridiculous and not really informative for smart phones / tablets.
