No idea, but I would rather convert a few files over night than pay for the app, especially considering android does it all built in anyway
  2. I read that VLC for iOS will come back shortly. That should suffice in the future, although on Android VLC is sucky compared to MXPlayer.
  3. Ditched Chrome on the Nexus 4 for the standard Android browser. Still not happy with the battery and the stats suggest Chrome could be a culprit.
  4. Much better today without Chrome.
  5. I barely notice the difference between Chrome and the Android Browser on Nexus 7. Will reinstall it again if you say it is easier on the battery though
  6. I hate standard browsers
  7. It's not too bad on the Nexus 7. Lots of wakelocks on the N4 though preventing it from deep sleeping.

  8. I honestly dont see much difference in functionality between Android stock browser and Chrome, except from some sync features.

I used Firefox for Android for a while but now back to Chrome, feels little bit more snappier.

  9. Weird, you expect that Google tests well on their 'own' devices.
  10. I hated the Nokia browser on the N8 and I hate the Android on my Sony Xperia. I use Opera (not Chrome, although I have it installed just for the sake of carrying all my bookmarks all the time) in all my mobile devices.
  11. Well the symbian browser always was a dead end. I'd have bailed long before I did if it wasn't for Opera.
  12. True that, Opera was king. Now unfortunately will be just another Chrome-clone. People are screaming bloody murder, and the old version was put back on the store.
