  4. Just for the sake of doing it? A full ad blocker is great. Does it include all browsers, games, etc you install or just the stock ones?

  7. No, there are just lists of website addresses that are blocked. These lists are updated periodically.
  8. So far noteeing a need to root. Only ever did it before on phones to get rid of network bloatware.
  9. I think my main A/V receiver is on its way out. I can replace it fairly easily, but what if it doesn't sound exactly the same? This amp + these EQ settings + these headphones = The world's best audio. No questions asked. And no, I can't replace like for like. This amp is from 1991. Bought by my dad and I believe the first album it played was the freshly released Achtung Baby.

    Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised...

    What's failing exactly? The jack input/output or the internal circuitery?

  12. Well, I use it for everything. All of the I/O is pretty much filled up, and in the last few months 2 of those ports have failed. I had to do some crazy rerouting to get the GTA V (on the Xbox) to have audio, since its port had failed. Occasionally it will refuse to turn on, and sometimes turn itself off. I've fixed amps and various other things in the past, usually it's nothing more than soldering on some new capacitors, but it's so old that no one on the web has any specifics, and I don't really fancy replacing every capacitor on the PCB.
