  1. No doubt but android on tablets is still a long way off. Windows 8 is visually nice on tablets (even RT) but again needs work. I'll be staying with the N7 though. Licking my lips for the Nexus 5 launch. A white backed version would be killer.

  2. A Lumia 520 would still be worth the (not too considerable) extra cost.

  3. How much do they go for (no contract)? Hard to beat those specs for $99 huh?

    Yeah, way to go. Seems to be that way with most of their new software except the pro stuff like Logic Pro, Aperture, Final Cut... Smart move by Apple, if their consumers have their best software, they're likely to be more satisfied with the hardware.

  5. Lumia 520 should be not much more than 100 euro. In don't see a future for Asha when Microsoft take ownership. Multitasking and basic app availability not great either.

    The Asha consumer does obviously not look for great multitasking or proccessor skills. Now that Whatsapp is going to be available for Asha phones too I think they're set to be the best selling low-profile phones out there. And they're Nokia, so still a guarantee for great hardware among its price range.
  7. I don't see it taking off. Terribly low resolution screen also. I night still pick up a Lumia 520 as my drinking phone.

  9. In the past 12 months I have smashed 2 expensive phones to bits when absolutely pissed. Makes sense to take a less expensive one with me when I go drinking.

    That's some expensive drunkenness, my man. Makes absolute sense, but it's still funny Moreover, the cheaper the phone, the sturdier it is (most frequently).
