True though about cost. £300 for the device + 24 months at £12.90 = £609.
Taking the device for free and paying £30 per month for 2 years (which is cheap for a high end device on release and would probably have an up front cost too) = £720.
So buying the phone outright can be cheaper plus you always have the flexibility of not being tied in to a lengthy contract aneimg able to upgrade as you please.
