1. Thanx Man
  2. Well, I just updated to iPod classic firmware 1.1.1. Am I happy? Surprisingly, yes.

    Pros

Some extra options in Movies for Movie Rentals, Alternate Audio, Captions, Subtitles
CoverFlow is bloody fast now, 25 album covers actually load within two seconds
The volume scroll lag is fixed - you can scroll the volume up and down without lag
Much better font style for CoverFlow - the whole title of the album actually fits
The sound seems to have improved a little - not much but better than 1.0.3

    Cons

No custom equalizers as of yet - Treble Reducer sounds about the best
The menu split-screen is still there as is the Screensaver after five minutes

I reckon another firmware update or two and we should be set.

the plans of his colleaques and relatives because of his fame and
    wealth, my
mother died when I was 6 years old.

I inherited a total sum of $4.6 million US dollars from my late

    content of
this box that was deposited under their care.

My main purpose of sending you this mail is because of the way I found
    you and
perhaps trustworthy to give this priority of shipping this box of money
    to any
address that you think is very secure and safe in place with your
    percentage of

    continue my

There is need for urgent action because it will soon be accumulating
    demurrage
charges to the Security Company for safe keeping this consignment. I
    give
thanks immensely for your co-operation as I look forward to hearing
    from you
    soonest.

Please do contact me through this YAHOO EMAIL address:

    immediate
claim of this trunk box on my behalf.

Funny story: As some of you know, I just lost my job. About 3 months ago, I got a new iMac, fully loaded from the huge company that we worked for. Anyways, Friday was my last day there, and there was some confusion as to what was happening to our computers. Without getting into too many boring details, my boss (who also lost his job on Friday) told me to take my work iMac home, but to be prepared that I might have to return it or buy it from the company. So.....I have an iMac sitting on the kitchen table here! ......at least for the time being.
  5. That's pretty cool to have the iMac, but losing the job isn't cool.

True, although at least I knew it was coming. I had a few months to prep and save.

On a different note, my earphones that I use at the gym died on me last week. I know there was a certain brand that was getting a lot of good reviews here in the tech topic a while back....can anyone steer me in a good set of headphones that I can use at the gym?

Are you looking for a new job or taking some time out Jeremy?

    Good work with the iMac

To answer your question the one's a lot of us favour are the Sennheiser CX300. Can't beat them for price. Have a look on Amazon, they should be really cheap.

Thanks, Dan. I'll check them out. Oh, and the plan is to just lay low and work on some personal writing for the time being and collect the unemployment checks...
