1. Congrats! Super fast delivery. How is it?
  2. Tad slower than the nexus 7 but very useable. ART helps a lot. Due to smaller RAM apps load slightly slower due to miltitasking . But considering the price its awesome!

Great service indeed by the webshop. Free shipping as well!
  3. Wow Enjoy it!! You planning to have it as a Nexus backup of main phone?
  4. Nexus 7 is a tablet, no SIM. But I used the N7 for whatsapp, viber, skype. All stuff now on my Moto G. N7 will probably only be used for watching videos. And the occassional chatting at home. Since bigger keys always help.
  5. Why don't you sell it and help paying the Moto? Nevermind, I got confused with the Nexus 5 which has a SIM, I though you had that one.
  6. Well we will see. The Moto G was not so expensive. My contract is:

14 € / month, 12 month contract, same price as Sim Only
159 € for the phone, without contract it is 219 here in Holland
    14,95 € Administration fees

So the phone basically cost me 159 eur. Which is not that expensive. The 8 GB is even cheaper. I can probably sell the N7 for about 180-200, there is a small scratch not noticeable unless you look for it.

My guess is that the N7 will become a family device and the Moto G my personal device.
  7. Yeah, that seems like a good option I still don't get or like tablets but I see why a family would like to have and use one.

    What about MotoG's screen?
  8. No complaints. 4.5" and 720p and more than sufficient brightness.
  9. I think I know the answer but just in case any of you amazing guys can help -
iPhone went in the washing machine for 2 minutes last Friday. Took sim card out, been in rice/heat ever since (not too hot).
Absolutely nothing from screen at all. Zero. Nilch. Nada.

    Any hope?
  10. Doesn't sound good if its ready need this long. Was it switched on as it went in to the machine?

    OUCH.

My bet is that it has died, sadly for you. But good luck. Leave it rest in rice (lots of) and best of lucks. I went into the sea with a phone and a camera and both survived after a week drowned in rice. The phone was a Nokia though

I would say that is the end of your iPhone. It is very likely that moisture has got into your phone and hit the battery where it swells.

I don't even think it is repairable in that situation. You'd be very lucky if it were to be repaired. Do you have any phone insurance that you took out with your provider? Or could you claim it on your house insurance?
