1. No the email I have is with my ip provider so I cant just log onto it with msn or whatever else
  2. OK, I'm not sure what you mean, but it seems to me that by "mail server" you mean an application for viewing and accessing your emails? Like Outlook Express on older Windows?

If that is the case, I believe Windows 8 has its own Mail app that you can use. There are also free applications you could use, Thunderbird is one of the best.

Try contacting your ip provider if you're not sure how to set up those application with your email.
  3. I have already done this and they also told me I have to buy one and install it. I also tried Thunderbird it does not work on my pc unfortunately. I also tried a few others. The app on my laptop is for hotmail and I dont have hotmail bc my email is through my ip provider so not compatible with all these apps. I just wanted to know which is the best one to buy.
  4. I got it all sorted
  5. I need some help. I've one of these:

And when I press the right button (on the D-pad) it doesn't respond. Is it possible this is hardware failure or something to do with firmware? I can get around it by pressing the left button and selecting menus that way but it's just a few extra buttons that can be a little annoying.
  6. There might be a thread on this topic but i couldnt find it.

    Convert them to Apple Lossless

  9. That's a very good solution. Or, if you want to save some space in your ipod and you're not a sound purist, you can convert them to lossy MP3 with VLC or foobar (they're free).

That's of course an option as well. But since Andrew was asking about FLAC files I was just guessing he wanted lossless. Also in iTunes when synching to an iDevice you can check a box to automatically convert files to a lower bitrate, but keep them lossless on the computer.
  11. Cheers guys. So iTunes will convert FLAC into Apple Lossless for me?
  12. I tried iTunes for the Apple Lossless, but I couldn't figured it out.
Foobar can also convert FLAC to Apple Lossless in a very easy way.
