1. is it possible to put a myvideo into a comment here, embedded like one from youtube so you can directly click on it here and watch it? I know that for a youtube video you just have to insert the link and the video shows up in the comment. Same with myvideo? don't want to mess around so I better ask before trying
  2. possibly silly question incoming: can one actually own two ipods, connect them to the same computer, but assign them each their own itunes library?

for example, I was planning on getting a second ipod and using that one for bootlegs only, while using the other for studio albums (and just other artists in general)... is that possible? and if it is, how do I do that?

    Yes you can.

That's exactly what I have: 1 ipod full of bootlegs, another with studio tracks. Just check the box "Manually manage music and videos" when you connect the ipod. Now you can handle the contents of your ipod manually. If you have 2 cables, you can connect both ipods to their respective USB ports and manage them.
You know you're an obsessed U2 fan when you have 2 ipods just for them

it seems absolutely excessive to be honest but now that the idea's in my head, I can't get it out of my mind. been thinking about getting the (RED) ipod for it, too. trying to think of a cool engraving

thanks, guys, for letting me know that it works and how it works!
  6. here's my new gadget. I'm in love and broke

  7. Wow they still exist, awesome,
  8. Is it just me or is the 32/64gb size of the modern ipods way too small? 120/160gb on the classics was never even enough for me. With technology getting smaller and cheaper daily, why are ipods still so low on storage? It really pisses me off
  9. everyone and their dog listens to music on their phones these days, but I still prefer one of those and mine is only 16GB (my old one got 8GB) ... indeed, not a lot, but I guess I can make it work.

I have exactly the same: an ipod nano 3rd generation of 8GB and a 7th gen ipod nano like the one you bought (mine is pre-owned, so it costed me half price). I have to say: I'm not happy with the latest gen. ipod nano. There's no lock button, the menu navigation is a mess, the lyrics are displayed only for a few seconds, if you are running every once in a while the random mode is activated, I had several problems with the new pin connector, etc. To top that, out of those 16GB, 2GB are for the software installed. That's 12.5%! Next time I'll buy one of those giant 160 GB ipods.
