My thinking also. Plus an iphone will hold it's value well enough so if I fancy upgrading to an S at some point then selling the 6+ should cover half the cost.
I've been on 4.7 inch phones for years now so fancy the larger screened Plus. I've no tablet these days either so hopefully having the Plus will prevent me craving a tablet at some stage.

5 inches is fine too. I used a Nexus 5 for ages and foubt it to be small. It's like anything though, you will get used to it after a few days.
I'm in the market for a new tablet, but I don't have the funds for something like an iPad. I want something that can run Android apps; Do you think the new Fire tablet (the $50 7 inch one) could run Android apps? Amazon seems unclear about this.
