1. Windows nerds.

Girlfriends laptop needs an upgrade but local shops quoting silly money for an ssd upgrade. How difficult is it to get windows on a new SDD (swapping out old spinning hard drive)?

I could swap in the SSD myself but how do I then get windows into it from there? The machine had Windows 7 on it and she'd be happy with that rather than upgrading to 10.

I remember when my hard drive went faulty in my laptop, my brother and I swapped out the hard drive for a new one and found a version of Windows 7 sitting around on the web. Dodgy, I know, but it never posed any issues at all. I think you should just do the swap yourself, because you should be able to find a version of Windows 7 pretty easily.
  3. Upgrade to 10 it's better if you're used to it.

Putting the software on it shouldn't be that hard, enough tutorials on YouTube.
  4. Microsoft is killing off paint

  5. new album will be on i phone 8 for free from the end of september/october 2017
  6. I hope they put it on all the phones again like they did last time.

Maybe this time they should put a combo: SoI and SoE together on your phone and force you to keep it.
  7. Instead, this time people will have to pay and STILL will complain...

  8. Honky donky stupid me again

I just got a new android mobile, Sony Xperia X.
Just downloaded the first bunch of songs over at the Bono Solo topic.
It obviously comes via Mega and I downloaded via the app.
But now that the dl is finished, I can't find the songs. I selected the sd card as dl "folder" before starting the actual dl, more specific was not possible.
Now the songs are nowhere to be found, not in music or recent downloads... I give up.
    Any help?

The files are likely to with zipped in a rar. You will likely need an app to extract them in the same way you would do on your computer. I would also install a file manager app so you can find where the rar files are saved.
